About Josh
Josh Voiles, executive producer, has been to several colleges, eventually finding his way to CU Denver. He is currently pursuing his MA in English. He is studying the rhetoric of algorithms while pondering what effect they should have on the teaching of rhetoric and composition. As a Colorado native, Josh loves all things mountains and is dedicated to protecting their health for future generations. He hopes to eventually pursue a Ph.D., but is also passionate about teaching and helping students develop within their fields of study. |
About Katie
Katherine (Katie) Allen is a graduate student in the department of English at CU Denver and teaches an undergraduate Core Composition class on intersectionality. After her studies, she is hoping to get into the publishing realm, but doesn't think she will ever want fully leave the academic sphere. She loves watching films, cuddling with her kitty, and Halloween. |
About Natalie
Natalie Waddington is an English MA graduate student at CU Denver. She teaches undergraduate Core Composition courses while also studying various mediums of composition. After completing her studies, Natalie hopes to continue her teaching career and gain more experience in the classroom. She assumes she'll start her journey towards a Ph.D. at some point but wants to take a break and live life a bit more before jumping into a doctorate program; she hopes to spend her time with her dog, Zeppelin, exploring new paths and parts of the world. |
About Nathalia
CultureKlatsch's creator and original producer and host, Nathalia Velez Ryan, is a writer, editor, and podcast producer. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, she studied journalism and cinema studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver and earned her Master of Arts in English at the University of Colorado Denver. She has been an avid lover of books, film, and television for as long as she can remember, and she is passionate about exploring what contemporary media has to say about what it means to be a human. Some of her favorite genres include independent horror films, expansive novels that span multiple generations, and classic early-2000s comedies. Nathalia is the producer of "CultureKlatsch: A Production of CU Denver," and "Madeline Looks Back," a podcast dedicated to the female gaze.
